Class News Letters
Inspirational Women Day. We enjoyed having family members in class to help us create the roofs to our Pantheons. They were great at papier-mâché!
World Book Day 2026.
Year 4 had a wonderful day at Verulamium Museum finding out about life in Roman Verulamium (St Albans) 2000 years ago. They also saw a live archaeological dig.
Year 4’s finished 3d artwork. We used 4 different layers of card to create our paintings.
Year 4 started to create their 3D pictures.
Year 4 Assembly - the children enjoyed sharing the learning they have been doing since January. They taught us the names of French vegetables, shared their understanding of life in Ancient Roman times, read extracts from sequels to The Journey and showed off their disco dance moves from their PE lessons.
DT - designing a frame structure using marshmallows and cocktail sticks
We spent some of our afternoon yesterday creating hot chocolate reindeers to sell at the Christmas fair. Everyone really enjoyed creating these, especially because they smelt delicious too!
