This term in Computing, we have been learning all about digital art. After learning about Pixel Pointillism and mastering Mondrian, today we discussed cubism and Picasso before trying our own cubism using digital art.

Today in English we learnt that there are dragons all around us, but because we are not looking they remain hidden. In our lesson we decided to go on a dragon spotting hunt to see if the dragons could remain unnoticed.

To celebrate science week, year 2 got to experience a visit from the planetarium. We learnt all about the moon and the moon landing

This week in science we learnt all about germs and personal hygiene. We carried out an experiment to discover the best way to wash our hands to remove germs. We made sure it was a fair test by keeping the timings the same.

This week in English we have been writing character profiles for Horrid Henry focusing on conjunctions and adjectives. Today we had to work together to sort statements from character profiles and decide if they described Horrid Henry or Perfect Peter.
