Mums into school Day
We celebrated Mothers Day but spending time with our mums and the other wonderful women in our lives at school.
Pizza Express Trip
Reception Class had great fun visiting Pizza Express in Windsor to learn how to make their own pizza. They got a chance to stretch the dough before adding their own tomato sauce and toppings. Each child got to take their own pizza home to eat.
Christmas Show
We had great fun acting out the Christmas Story for our families this Christmas.
Outdoor Learning
Reception Class and Nursery had lots of fun during our outdoor learning experience. We read the story 'We're going on a Leaf Hunt' before finding our own leaves to make a collage. The children then helped to build their own See-Saw and balance beams before finishing with a song.
Party Time!!!
Reception Class where very excited to spend their prize money from winning Datchets got Talent on a party. We had great fun dancing, playing games and of course eating lots of yummy party food.
Black History Day
In Reception Class we read the story Anansi the Spider, a traditional story from Ghana. To celebrate Black History Day we used different 2D shapes to make our own Anansi spiders as well as making African necklace's with paper plates. We also discussed and compared the different skin tones that make up our class and experimented with some colour mixing to see how many different skin tones we could make.
