Christmas Jumper day!
The Great Escape
We used the field and our outdoor forest school area to reenact 'The Great Escape'. We crawled for 111 metres - the same length as the tunnel in 'The Great Escape', we then had to avoid the German soldiers with their spot lights. However, some of us did get caught and we had to escape again! We then built dens and imagined what it would have been like for the escapees to be hiding in the forest before we were rescued by our allies; Russian soldiers in their tanks.
The Tempest
After rehearsals and a wonderful drama workshop,Year 6 are delighted to present to you The Tempest. Enjoy!

In science we have been studying evolution, we created our own animals and explained how they have evolved and are adapted to an extreme environment. We then used clay to create models of our animals.
Acer have been painting the clay models of the adapted creatures that they created.
