To continue to support our topic on lifecycles and minibeasts, Reception Class visited the Lookout Discovery Centre. After exploring all the activities inside we attended a workshop on Minibeasts before going into the forest to find our own.

Cuddles with the chicks

The children have been learning about the life cycle of a hen by watching their own chicks hatch.

Easter Bonnet Parade

Whilst learning all about Italy for our Around the World topic, Reception Class enjoyed making their own pizza in honour of Queen Margherita.

To celebrate Mothers Day, Reception Class chose Julia Donaldson as their wonderful woman.

We were very lucky to have one of our Class family members come in today and teach the class how to write their names in Arabic.

Reception Class enjoyed learning all about the story of Christmas during the Christmas Exhibition

We had lots of fun running our EYFS stall at the christmas market.

Today we went to the village green to look at different 2D and 3D shapes in the buildings. We then did an observational drawing of one of the buildings focusing on the shapes we could see.

Reception Class enjoyed their first visit to Church to celebrate Harvest Festival

Penny Run fun. We enjoyed raising money for our school by working alongside our Year 6 Buddies to make the longest line of coins.
