We practised our chopping skills in DT this week and tasted seasonal foods!
To celebrate Science Week, we continued our learning about the parts of a plant. We focused on the stem's job of transporting water from the roots to the rest of the plant. We even watched this happen as our flowers and celery absorbed some coloured water to turn other parts of the plant blue!
Book Day 2025! We've had the best day dressing up as book characters, hiding book titles in sentences during a game of Book Hide and Seek and we even went on a Book Hunt following mysterious clues!! We ended the day with some peaceful ERIC time in the outdoors!

This term, we have been working incredibly hard at perfecting our pilates poses! We have been travelling around the world to visit the London Bridge (bridge), Egyptian Sphinx (plank) and helicopters in Australia (shoulder stand)!
In Computing, we have been learning to code and give commands using Scratch. Today, we made our sprites move when different events occurred!
In RE we have been learning all about Islam. In today's lesson, we learned about the Muslim place of worship - the mosque - and designed our own mosques to include all of the appropriate features. Can you spot where the shoes are taken off? What about the Wudu where Muslims wash before prayers? You might also be able to find prayer mats and a patterned dome!
This term we have refreshed our knowledge on a running stitch and also learnt how to cross stitch and use applique on some Egyptian collars!
Time for the Christmas Fair!
This morning, we had a special Christmas Exhibition where we learned lots of interesting details about the story of Christmas!
This morning, we proudly presented all of our learning from this term! We told our family, friends and the rest of the school about our work on Shakespeare, Ancient Egyptians and still life art - what do you think of our pears and fruit bowls? We even showed everyone how we can count to 10 in French and sang our funny Mummy Song!
Today we had Egyptian Day! We spent the day enriching our learning about Ancient Egypt. We danced like Egyptians, mummified tomatos, made flatbread and learned how to write in heiroghlyphics! We finished the day with an Egyptian feast of grapes, raisins, honey and our homemade bread!

In computing, we are learning that pictures can move and that we call these animations. Here we are creating flipbook animations of someone waving or kicking!
Today we went to Chiltern Open Air Museum to lean about the Stone Age & Iron Age and we were so busy with activities! We made flatbread and butter, created our own clay pots, learnt how to make fire and so much more! Check out the photos of our day...
We have been working on writing persuasively in English! We performed some persuasive speeches to Mr Wonka, convincing him to sell our chocolate bars in his shop! Can you spot our alliteration, flattery, rule of three and exaggeration? Which chocolate bar sounds irresistible to you?!

This term we have learnt lots about the Stone Age! Today we investigated the mystery of Stonehenge, how it was made and why! Take a look at our Stonehenge structures and ask us to identify the henge, horseshoe and trilithon...

This term we have been learning about digital devices. Today we became devices with a connection between each other. Watch us pass messages around our computer networks!
To help understand the purpose of a persuasive advert and give meaning to our writing, we worked in pairs to perform our adverts ready to go on the television!
For Science, we have been learning all about the human body! This week, we have been learning about the human skeleton so we labelled some of the bones in our bodies! Ask us about which the longest bone in our body is!!
